The occurrence
On , while on approach to the Nanaimo Airport, British Columbia, the crew of a WestJet Encore Bombardier DHC-8-402 declared an emergency due to smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed at Nanaimo and the passengers and crew evacuated onto the runway. There were no reported injuries.

The occurrence
In the early morning hours on , a privately owned Piper PA-28R-200 aircraft collided with terrain at the Brantford Municipal Airport, in Ontario. The wreckage was found in the airport infield area adjacent to Runway 05. The aircraft was substantially damaged and the two occupants on board were fatally injured.

The occurrence
On , at about 1010 EST, two aircraft collided near the Carp Airport located west of Ottawa, Ontario. The first aircraft was a Cessna 150 with one person on board who was fatally injured. The second aircraft, a Piper PA-42 (Cheyenne III) with two occupants on board, was able to fly to the Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport, where it landed at about 1030 EST.

The occurrence
On , a Found Aircraft Canada FBA-2C1 aircraft equipped with floats, operated by Georgian Bay Airways, departed the Billy Bishop Water Aerodrome in Toronto, Ontario, destined for the Parry Sound Harbour. During low level maneuvering in the Lake Muskoka area, the aircraft struck the water, then cartwheeled and sank. The two occupants received minor injuries and the aircraft was destroyed. The TSB is investigating.
