Investigation report: May 2019 engine power loss and forced landing

Edmonton, Alberta,  — 

Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A19W0052) on the 3 May 2019 engine power loss and forced landing of a Douglas DC3C-S1C3G near Hay River, Northwest Territories.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
