Investigation report: July 2019 railway crossing accident in Oakfield, Nova Scotia
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, 7 February 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (R19M0028) into the 19 July 2019 railway crossing accident in Oakfield, Nova Scotia.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
