Investigation report: February 2018 grounding of Fisherman's Provider II in Canso Harbour, Nova Scotia

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia,  — 

Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (M18A0002) on the grounding of the fishing vessel Fisherman's Provider II which occurred on 6 February 2018 in the Frying Pan Shoal while the vessel was transiting the Canso Harbour, Nova Scotia.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
